I didn’t fit the story I was given...
so I rewrote it.

Waymon Hudson is a queer, late-deafened writer, musician, and creator
building stories that live beyond the page, the stage, and the screen.

From memoir to music to psychological horror, his work explores identity, sensation, and what it means to be fully seen.

Waymon Hudson is a multi-hyphenate creative force blending artistry and strategy...
but at the center of everything is one thing:
story.

From a childhood shaped by silence, pressure, and survival in the Deep South
to building bold creative work across music, theater, and digital platforms,
his work challenges expectations and expands what storytelling can be.

Whether he’s writing a Broadway-bound musical, releasing emotionally raw music,
or building a viral horror universe online, Waymon leads with voice, vulnerability, and edge.

What connects a Broadway musical, a raw memoir, a sensory-driven album, and a psychological horror series?

– Voice. Impact. Feeling. Truth. –

Every project may look different, but they all come from the same place: a need to make people feel something real.

To tell the stories that don’t always get told.
To create work that lingers... emotionally, physically, psychologically.

From stage to page to screen, Waymon builds experiences that don’t just entertain...they stay with you.

The Why Behind the Work

As a late-deafened queer person raised in the conservative South, my life has always been shaped by one question:

Who gets to be heard... and how?

When I lost my hearing, I didn’t lose connection to the world. I experienced it differently.

More physically. More emotionally.

More honestly.

That shift didn’t take something away. It changed how I create.

Now everything I make, whether it’s music, writing, or performance, is about sensation, identity, and truth.

I don’t create to be heard.

I create to be felt.

And in a world that constantly tries to quiet certain voices, that is its own kind of rebellion.
